About Us
Luli & Cat is a small, family-owned business operating from Alabama in the United States. We offer high-quality, functional, FUN cat products.
We were dog owners for over a decade, and had never had a cat. When our then 7-year-old's pleading finally wore down our resolve, we adopted Waffle, who has now become the Luli & Cat spokes-cat and official product tester.
When we adopted Waffle, we were clueless about how to set up, maintain, and clean a litter box. We asked friends for advice. We searched the Internet. It was overwhelming.
We eventually discovered biodegradable cardboard litter boxes, and we loved them. However, we found that many cardboard litter boxes aren't actually very functional. They were flimsy, tiny, or they absorbed moisture rather than repelling it.
We wanted to offer a solution that's different. So, we designed plastic-free disposable litter boxes that are dense, sturdy, extremely water resistant. Yet, still they break down within 90 days of contact with soil.
Our cat Waffle uses these. He loves to lay in them when they're empty (because he's a cat), but he also loves to pee in/on them! We (humans) love that the clean-up is a breeze, with no more time spent scrubbing and spraying out dusty, dirty litter boxes. Yay!
Luli & Cat has expanded beyond disposable litter boxes, now, but they remain a top seller in our product offering.
